The purpose of the simulation "Driving while InTechicated" is to establish awareness against the number one cause of death in our generation, texting and driving. There is hope to accomplish this by creating an interactive simulation that can function as a warning against texting while driving. Research has shown that simulators are effective in teaching concepts, such as learning to drive, or learning new process.
The user is given a choice in the simulation whether to text while drive, or drive non-distracted. If the player drives distracted, the player is shown consequences such as property damage and loss of life in accidents. |
